The Decking Superstore is a premiere supplier and purveyor of decking and siding materials located in San Jose, California. Established in 1965, The Decking Superstore provides PVC, capstock, softwood, hardwood, and even composite decking and siding materials nationwide. They also provide other services, such as custom milling and profile creation, with an expert staff ready to assist their customers with their outdoor projects and deck design.
At Jambaree, we were tasked with elevating the perception of The Decking Superstore through a new front-end concept with the aim of highlighting information about key product categories and available services. Needless to say, this new creative direction would be applied on forthcoming print collateral as well.
The new website redesign features a more refined, visual language based on its previously defined brand principles. Moreover, the new website makes better use of space alongside large images, and displays layouts utilizing clear information hierarchies to make browsing between various sections, and product categories clear. More focus has been placed on several touchpoints all throughout the site, including a grid-based meganav, a new online Decking Comparison Tool UI, and a visual benefits section for each product category. I also assisted in crafting a new Request a Quote UI experience, that provides customers with a step-by-step questionaire that assists them in specifying their product-related inquiries and needs.
Clear visual elements, and well-defined functionality, help enable The Decking Supertsore to be ready to address the needs of their customers.
